The Tubes & The Bugs are public indoor play areas located inside Irving Bible Church. This is an especially great place to go when it is too cold, hot, or rainy for outdoor play. It’s a perfect place for play dates and mommy meet-ups. The Tubes are well suited for preschoolers and toddlers, with a maximum height limit of 52 inches. The littles will have a blast and burn off a ton of energy as they make their way through the tubes and slides in this huge indoor playscape.
The Bugs, adjacent to the Tubes, is a soft play area for children 36 inches and smaller. It includes cute toy bug sculptures inside a little blue play “pond” made of plush cushion flooring, perfect for crawling infants and toddlers.
There is also a lovely aquarium down the hall, which is great because fish are always a soothing way to help littles transition from activity. Tables all around also provide a nice place to rest and snack, feel free to bring your own food or make use of the sweet little cafe down the hall. It’s also good to know that family restrooms are nearby and well maintained.
Those of a different spiritual persuasion needn’t be concerned about being approached to join the church, though it is a lovely church, and it is incredibly generous that they make these wonderful playscapes freely available to the public.
The Tubes are also available for 2 hour birthday party reservations on Friday evenings and all day Saturdays for only $50. 972-560-4600
