Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival
Prepare for Spring!  What better way to celebrate one of the top Downtowns in the country than stretching your legs along a Magnificent Mile of Art, Music and Food. Great restaurants, superb shopping with additional retail stores and of course, the #1 Arts Festival in Texas!

Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Festival
Live Entertainment, Arts & Crafts, Food, Kids Activities & more details to be announced. (Now accepting vendor applications.)

McCall Plaza Grand Opening in Plano
Plano Stages’ newest venue, McCall Plaza, will have its grand opening across the weekend of April 15. Come out and help us celebrate this awesome occasion! Friday, April 15 4:30pm – Special remarks from Mayor Harry LaRosilere, immediately followed by a performance by Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Bluegrass Band.  Saturday, April 16 10:00am
A full day of performances from local arts groups, including: Art Centre, Theatre, Chamberlain Ballet, Collin County Ballet Theatre, Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra, Edge Dance & Performing Arts, Plano Children’s Theatre, Plano Community Band, Plano Dance Theatre, Plano Internation Festival, Plano Metropolitan Ballet, and SHINE Plano. Late Night at the Dallas Museum of Art

Ballooncy
BALLOONACY had people expressing all kinds of emotion in 2015! Now, we’re bringing it back so many can see it again and others can experience it for the first time. Audiences were truly smitten with Karl Schaeffer’s lonely old birthday boy and the unlikely friend he makes in a wandering red balloon. This immersive, non-verbal play invites the audience to direct the action making no two shows ever alike. You’ll be in awe of your child’s (and your own) laughter and reaction to the adventure between the old man and the balloon. Squirmy toddlers, their parents, and grandparents are invited to experience what could be the most valuable hour of the year! Recommended for ages 2 and up

Dallas Children’s Theater Activities at Klyde Warren Park
Bring your drama princess or prince to the Children’s Park for acting games and fun with DCT. Join in on the fun! Dallas Children’s Theater will lead activities in the Children’s Park – meet at the learning tree!

Get Kidz Fit Fest at Fair Park
Join this free fitness festival at Fair Park to experience a series of physical activities, interactive games and sports, obstacle courses, inflatables & high-energy performances at the Main Stage dance party. Parents receive information on healthy habits, nutrition, food demos and more. The first 500 kids get free T-shirts. Presented by Dallas Area Coalition to Prevent Childhood Obesity, Dallas Mayor’s Youth Fitness Initiative (MyFi).

Cedar Hill Creative Arts Festival 
**FREE FAMILY EVENT**
The Cedar Hill Parks and Recreation Department and the Zula B. Wylie Public Library in Cedar Hill, Texas are proud to partner with Walk the Lightin presenting the 6th annual Creative Arts Festival in Downtown Cedar Hill. Come check out local art vendors, food, live music, and plenty of kids activities including interactive art, storytelling, aerial artists, and a high-energy concertby Dallas musician David Chicken! Madras Market – The Family Carnival at Southfork Ranch
Designed to feel like a carnival, this Chennai’s favorite outdoor event is making its first international edition. The event has all the elements for a family to spend a day, outdoor, breathe fresh air, laze around, shop, eat, play, enjoy some good music and relax under the stars!

Spring Into Nash at Nash Farms 
Celebrate the season with this 15th annual family-friendly event. Activities include heritage toys, kitchen gardening, cotton planting, farm animals, tractor-drawn wagon rides, field cultivation, wood carving demonstrations, jump rope making, wood-burning stove cooking demonstrations and blacksmith demonstrations. Children and adults alike will enjoy learning what life was like when Grapevine’s earliest settlers made their home in Grapevine, Texas.

Scarborough Renaissance Festival

Dallas Film Family Day at Klyde Warren Park
In honor of the late, great, musical genius David Bowie, who wrote and composed the entire soundtrack for LABYRINTH along with starring in the film, the cult classic will play at the Festival during a special FREE outdoor screening at sundown (7:30 PM) on Family Day, Saturday, April 16 at Klyde Warren Park in the Dallas Arts District. In conjunction with the evening screening we’ll be holding a David Bowie look-alike contest before the show, so channel your inner glam and come out dressed to impress!

Family Funday – Celebrating Folk Art at Irving Arts Center
Free Family Fundays at Irving Arts Center offer the perfect framework for adults and children to experience art together. Parents and children are provided all supplies and just enough direction to co-create, far from daily distractions. For April’s Family Funday the theme is “celebrating folk art,” inspired by an exhibition of folk artist, Will Moses, great grandson of the famous Grandma Moses.
