Denton Art & Jazz Festival
The Denton Arts and Jazz Festival is a celebration of the arts in a community known for embracing and nurturing music, dance, choral, drama and the visual arts. The FREE event is produced by the Denton Festival Foundation, Inc. with the generous support of sponsors such as the Dallas/Fort Worth American Federation of Musicians Local 72-147 and the city of Denton. Held the last full weekend in April at Denton’s Quakertown Park, the event features seven stages of continuous music, fine art, crafts, and food, games and information booths in a beautiful, outdoor setting.
When: Fri, April 29th, 5pm – 11pm; Sat, April 30th, 10am – 11pm; Sun, May 1st, 11am – 9pm
Where: Quakertown Park 321 East McKinney (Corner of McKinney and Bell) Denton, Texas 76201

MayFest
Mayfest is Fort Worth’s premier family-friendly festival! Encompassing 33 acres along the Trinity River in Trinity Park, Mayfest has a myriad of activities for the whole family in one of the best greenspaces in town. Live music, festival food, carnival rides, bounce houses, free children’s activities, petting zoo, performing arts groups, paddleboats, rock-climbing, zip-lining, people-watching, art and gift market, 10K and 5K USATF certified runs, student art contest, and so much more. Come to Mayfest – you’ll have the time of your life!

El Día De Los Niños
El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children’s Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a celebration of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30. The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
On Friday April 29th musical and dance performances will occur on the Rose Marine Theater stage from 6 – 9 pm. Saturday April 30th from 2 to 6 pm, Artes de la Rosa will have our outdoor festival that will feature performances from Magician Josh Ayala; Ventriloquist Maricela and Friends; Trumpets For Kids, Ballet Folklorico Azteca, Ballet Folklorico de Fort Worth, Young Men’s Leadership Academy Band, ROTC as well as Mariachi and Drill Teams from Fort Worth ISD. There will be arts & crafts tables for children to explore and create. *Performances Subject To Change

Family Workshop Amon Carter Museum of American Art  
Explore the world of classic film and art during this interactive tour and hands-on, art-making experience inspired by the special exhibition American Epics: Thomas Hart Benton and Hollywood. This program is designed for children 7–12 years old and their adult companions.

Kimbell Kids Drop-In at Kimbell Art Museum
